Sony SSU-4000 Carbocon Vintage Speakers - Rare and Beautiful Sounding Pair 😍 🎶

The pair in the photos has sold, but we do have another pair, same model in stock and ready in same great condition. We also have a pair of SSU-3000's available, using all of the same components in a shorter cabinet with a tuned port vs. passive radiator found in the SSU-4000's. Performance:
Each speaker is in original full working condition.
All functions perform as they should.
Surrounds, Spider, cone, tweeter, mids, crossovers, and trim pots are all healthy and working.
Personally, these are some of my favorite speakers I have owned. The bass is very clean and rich, but not overpowering. The Mids/Highs are fantastic. They are not fatiguing to listen to and have a very clear natural sound.
I also have a pair of the SSU-3000's, and a second pair of the 4000' if any Quad fans are looking for an amazing system.
These speakers are sensitive enough to run on my 35wpc tube amp, but thrive with around 65-90 wpc. They will be over driven if you use too big of an amp and try to push the bass, but with the range mentioned above the bass is perfectly sweet and you will find yourself wanting to listen to everything in your collection to hear how it sounds. The Doors Riders On The Storm - Master with the rainfall in the beginning is fantastic. Instead of the rain sounding blurred together, you can almost hear each Drop. The intro to Ozzy's Crazy Train is awesome as well.
 
 
Cosmetics:
The speakers are in nice condition, but do have some marks, nicks, etc. Please check out the pictures. The are free from damage and heavy wear with the exception of a couple of the nics. 
I have used these in many of my recent demo videos on Youtube. If you search "BIGAZSPEAKERS" on Youtube you will see my videos where I used these. I will post a dedicated video to these soon and that will be detailed below. (Video Updated Below)
