- Each speaker consists of original components in full working condition.
- The foam surrounds on each of the 12" dual voice coil Poly-graphite woofers has been professionally and properly refoamed using the undermount method, centered, tested, and sound as amazing as they look. The few I have seen listed with the proper woofers, many have been incorrectly refoamed. Please note in the photos, the cones on the woofers are absolutely damage free and original. I am emphasizing this point given the delicate nature of these particular woofers and the majority when made available are either damaged or not original. Not to worry with this pair.
- The Boron mids and Beryllium ribbon tweeters are also all original and fully functional. They present a very clean signal with outstanding stereo separation and imaging.
- Each speaker has been carefully gone through, tested, and enjoyed.
- These particular speakers sound great with most types of music, but they do excel with music consisting of a synthesized beat, consistent with popular 80's and on, pop music, but certainly not limited to. Throw on some Michael Jackson, etc and grin! For music with a non synthesized beat, Steely Dan is hard to beat!
Cosmetics
- Each cabinet is in solid condition, free from damage or compromise. There is some minor rounding on the corners and light scuffs in the finish.
- The grills are damage free, cloth is in good condition. There is minor wear on the upper right corner of the cloth on 1 grill, but visibility is minor.
- Overall, the speakers look and present very well.
