The Marantz 2220b shown in the photos and video is the unit you are buying.
The original user manual is included.
The cosmetic condition is as close to mint as you can find in used vintage condition. The face is gorgeous, no damage or major blemishes to mention.
Unit is clean in and out, free from nicks, scratches, heavy wear.

Restoration:
This unit has been carefully gone through and replaced old electrolytic capacitors and signal path transistors along with any other parts testing out of spec. Unit bias and off-set are perfectly within spec, operates cool and sound fantastic. At 20wpc, this little guy can easily run my larger efficient speakers with authority and beauty.
The unit has had all signal path transistor (pre-drivers) upgraded to modern appropriate replacements on Phono, Amp Board, tone board, and partial power supply in order to restore audio quality to original specs free from any noise from old worn out transistors. Where necessary, transistors were beta tested to ensure perfectly matched pairs for opposite sides were used.
Original output transistors are intact, have been pulled, tested, and reinstalled with new Mica insulators and work perfectly.
Electrolytic caps were replaced with name brand parts, primarily Nichicon, Panasonic, and WIMA for film caps. Audio grade caps were used along audio signal path. Were applicable, caps were upsized to provide even better power.
The lights were upgraded to LED.
All controls, pots, switches cleaned and lubed and are in perfect working order.
All boards and interior of the unit were cleaned.
Face was removed, cleaned & detailed, knobs polished, glass cleaned, debris behind display panel cleaned out.
The tuner boards were left original, FM tuner is in perfect alignment and locks FM stereo signal very well so left as is.
This is an extraordinary receiver both in looks and performance. If you are looking for the best in cosmetics and performance, this is worthy of your attention.
