JBL L166a Vintage Floor Speakers (Pair) - Fantastic!

The pair of L166 speakers being offered are the actual speakers presented in the photos and demo video. Please be sure to review and submit any questions prior to purchase. 
The stands are not included, just used as a prop for the photos. Sale is just for the speakers and matching grills. Price is for the pair.
Each speaker is in original full working condition. The 122a woofers were refoamed in 2017 and remain healthy. The woofers are properly aligned, cone is damage free, suspension is good meaning the woofers perform as they should. 
The LE5-8 mids are perfect as is the 066 tweeters. 
The attenuators have been cleaned so no breakup or signal loss when adjusting. 
The cabinets were just resealed from the inside to ensure no rattling from lower frequencies. 
The cabinets were just sanded and new oil with satin lacquer finish applied to revitalize the original appearance and to get rid of 95% of the impressions that were in the wood due to time and use. There are still some minor blemishes and light chips along edges and corners, but as you can see from the photos and video the speakers do look very nice. 
The grills are not perfect but are presentable with some light damage to small parts within the plastic mesh fronts, mainly near the bottom corners. The grill pegs were broken off and the prior owner screwed the grills on. The screws were removed, the screw holes in the cabinets were filled and painted, aftermarket pegs were installed (no modification to the cabinets or grills for new pegs, so if new owner desired to install original JBL pegs down the line, just remove the pegs and install the JBL pegs. 
There are still small screw holes in the grills and not terribly noticeable, but easy to fill with epoxy if ever desired. 
In all, these are absolutely fantastic speakers. Out of all of the smaller/Medium size floor speakers I have owned these top my list. They easily match and supersede the performance and quality of the famous L100 and by all accounts a certain upgrade for those wanting more, but do not want to loose what they appreciate about the L100. Simply put, the L100 is like your kid in Junior High/Highschool. The overall personality developed but not yet refined. Now fwd. & imagine your kid finishing grad school & you have your L166 (;
