Description: Sale includes Carver M-500t Amplifier - We will be selling a Mint Carver C-4000 preamp along with many many other awesome audio products yet to be listed. Please be sure to message if you are looking for both! We are open to discounts on multiple items. 
The amplifier shown in the photos and demo video is the amplifier you are purchasing.
The amp has been carefully gone through, a little more than 50% of the original electrolytic capacitors were replaced, some for being out of spec, other smaller value caps replaced and upgraded.
All caps used were new name brand and audio grade were needed. Some WIMA film caps were used to upgrade some of the smaller value caps on the amp board for even better performance.
Any resistors that tested out of spec were replaced with proper values.
Units idle and bias were reset to factory spec 74v and 6mv +/-1mv per the carver service manual.
Front VU Lights were upgraded to LED and blue gel filter inserted to give a soft blue glow.
The front VU Window along with the face plate does hove some scuffing and moderate wear, but still very nice and presentable as you can see in the pictures provided.  
The metal top does have some light dings and has been repainted, overall it looks very good.
 Thoughts: 
  - This is a terrific performing and sounding amplifier that has been carefully repaired and serviced to ensure its original performance, power, and clarity are reliable for years to come.
  - Although there are some minor blemishes, the unit is free from damage, overall very clean, and pleasant to look at. The work and time put in to this amp should make this a strong contender to fulfill your amplifier needs, especially if in the market for this particular model.
